Swiss Electronic Health Record (EHR)

The EHR (Electronic Health Record) is an electronic document dossier managed by the patient. The patient has full control over their documents, which they can grant health professionals quick and easy access to. HUMAN RESOURCES CONTRACT APPLICATION

For Schulthess Klinik, a digital solution was needed to support key human resources processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions. These workflows involve the generation and distribution of various documents (e.g., contracts, personnel forms, information sheets) and require coordination across multiple departments and stakeholders for approvals and task execution.Using Adobe LiveCycle, we successfully implemented a process-driven system in close collaboration with the client. Initiated by HR staff and prefilled with employee data, the application orchestrates all required tasks—executed either in parallel or sequentially—generates personalized documents, and notifies all involved parties via email. The solution also includes real-time process monitoring and alerting mechanisms to prevent workflow delays or interruptions.Technologies: Adobe LiveCycle, Adobe PDF, JavaScript, XML, Flash

Demandit Cloud IDE

Demandit was an online development environment (cloud IDE) for creating web projects and database solutions without programming knowledge, requiring only a web browser, created in 2002. It blends the features of a CMS with the flexibility of database systems like Microsoft Access.Designed for the cloud from the outset, this multi-tenant system allows customers to manage numerous websites and applications on a single instance. Applications range from simple websites to course management tools, mail tools, and full CRM/CMS platforms.Technologies: ColdFusion, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL.

Swiss Federal Household Survey

The HABE project involves an interactive PDF form used to capture data collected from the annual household survey. Participants send their data in paper form to the survey institute DemoSCOPE, where it is entered into the database using the PDF form. Key requirements include ensuring the form visually resembles the paper version as closely as possible and that all data can be read and written via web services. The form also provides various feedback to employees and offers the ability to record comments and clarifications for each entry. Additionally, the form is designed to be multilingual.What makes this project unique is the fact that a full-fledged frontend application was built using PDF technology. The capabilities of PDF are pushed to their limits.

For the kbz St. Gallen, a course management system with an administration area for teachers and learners was created using Demandit. The teachers are able to enter and manage their own courses (participants, course dates, course points, facilities, absences, registrations and cancellations, statistics).Course participants can register online for these courses and view the status of registered and completed courses in their own management area. The tool monitors the maximum and minimum number of participants and the course points that must be accumulated per participant.Technologies: Demandit, ColdFusion, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL

Pension Fund Software - UaCube

Absolute Development AG was commissioned to implement the user interface for Credit Suisse’s pension fund management solution. The application, named ‘UaCube’, is used by pension fund administrators to manage insured individuals, their insurance plans, and related processes such as entries, exits, voluntary purchases, and workflow tracking.While all core business logic and actuarial calculations are handled by an external backend system, UaCube serves as the central interface for day-to-day operations. It accesses backend services via a service-oriented architecture (SOA), requiring seamless integration and data synchronization.The solution had to support complex user interactions, high usability standards, and a clear data structure to guide users through legally and financially sensitive tasks.Technologies: Java, Adobe Flex, Oracle

For the Institut für Jungunternehmen (IFJ) in St. Gallen, a powerful CRM/CMS platform was developed using Demandit. This solution enables IFJ to manage and continuously expand not only its own website but also the online presence of its strategic partner portals, Venturekick and Venturelab, all within a single, centralized system.The platform combines flexible CMS features with an integrated CRM that allows for unified management of customer data across all three portals. This ensures consistent communication, shared lead tracking, and centralized user segmentation. In addition to content and customer management, the solution includes an online store, a lead management module, and a built-in mailing tool to support targeted marketing activities and outreach campaigns. Sangit Communication AG in Teufen successfully operates a media review specialized in the healthcare sector. Daily, the entire Swiss media landscape is scanned for articles and reports related to healthcare. The reports, in text, audio, or video formats, are captured using the Infonlinemed system and provided to clients in a structured and consolidated manner. Clients access their personalized Infonlinemed through a personal login. Once logged in, they have numerous options to search for articles, view statistics, archive and organize articles, register for personalized search subscriptions and RSS feeds, compile their own dossiers, also in PDF format, and much more.Infonlinemed is an online media review extraordinarily rich in useful features, yet remains simple and clear.
